This year you can help make the holiday season a little brighter for the thousands of children in the local foster care system.
San Diego State University has partnered with Promises2Kids for the annual Give From Your Heart Holiday Gift Drive.
Promises2Kids is a San Diego-based organization that responds to the needs of foster children and provides support to children removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect.
You can help by dropping off new, unwrapped toys for kids of all ages, as well as clothing of all sizes.
Donation bins can be found at the following campus locations:
• Office of the Vice President, BFA (Administration Building, Suite 320)
• Center for Human Resources (Extended Studies Center, Suite 406)
• Aztec Recreation Center
• Associated Students Business Office (Aztec Student Union, third floor)
The gift drives run through Wednesday, Dec. 12.
