Celebrate Peace Corps 50th Anniversary March 16

The celebration will feature SDSU's Peace Corps alumni and local community leaders.

San Diego State is consistently one of the top schools in the California State University system for recruiting Peace Corps volunteers. Currently, there 40 SDSU graduates serving as volunteers in countries around the world.

Celebrate SDSU's relationship with the Peace Corps by attending the 50th anniversary celebration from 4–6 p.m., Wednesday, March 16, in the Parma Payne Goodall Alumni Center.

Attendees will hear about SDSU Peace Corps alumni experiences, and will be able to network with volunteers, recruiters and local community leaders. Students can RSVP for the event by logging into Aztec Career Connection and selecting "Events," then "Workshops."
