The Committee on Diversity and Equity at the SDSU Imperial Valley Campus will host a public presentation by Isidro Ortiz, professor of Chicana/o Studies, and Gus Chavez, retired Educational Opportunities Program director.

The event will focus on the consequences of SDSU admissions policies for 2010-11, particularly as they affect Latina/o students. The brown bag lunch event will take place from noon to 12:50 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 28, in room N 101, 720 Heber Avenue, in Calexico. The event is free and open to the public.
