Due to mandated furloughs - the result of state budget cuts to the CSU - several SDSU offices will close periodically during the fall semester. Students are encouraged to check with their instructors and departmental offices for information regarding individual course schedules or faculty/staff furlough days.

The following is a list of known campus office closures as of Nov. 9.


Enrollment Services -- including the public offices of:

Academic Advising Center, Office of Admissions/Prospective Student Center, Office of
the Registrar and the Veterans Center, will be closed on the following dates:

  • Friday, Sept. 18
  • Friday, Oct. 2
  • Friday, Oct. 16
  • Friday, Nov. 13
  • Wednesday, Nov. 25
  • Dec. 21-24*
  • Dec. 31

Academic Affairs – including the offices of the Provost, Academic Affairs, and Faculty Affairs – will be closed on the following dates:
 

  • Friday, Sept. 18
  • Friday, Oct. 2
  • Friday, Oct. 16
  • Friday, Nov. 13
  • Wednesday, Nov. 25
  • Monday-Thursday, Dec. 21-24*

The dean's offices in the following colleges will follow the Academic Affairs furlough calendar, and be closed on the same dates:

  • Arts and Letters
  • Business
  • Education (except Oct. 16 rescheduled to Oct. 30)
  • Engineering (except Oct. 2 rescheduled to Oct. 30)
  • Health and Human Services
  • Professional Studies and Fine Arts
  • Sciences (except Sept. 4 rescheduled to Sept. 11)
Check with individual departments and schools for individual closure dates
